Update 2/26/08: Mayor Carmen Kontour-Gronquist has been voted out of office due to the pictures below. Voters voted 142-139 to remove her from office. the pictures of her in black bra and panties were taken for use in a contest about fitness, but a relative posted them on MySpace in hopes it would improve the social life of the single mother. That’s a picture of the Mayor of Arlington,OR. Appears that she had some pictures on her MySpace page that were taken 3 years ago, well before the time she became mayor.
“That’s my personal life,” she said. “It has nothing to do with my mayor’s position. I’m not going to change who I am,” she said. “There’s a lot of officials that have a personal life, and you have people in this community who have nothing better to do than scrape up stuff like this.”
And I salute those people who found these pictures. What a bod on her for being 41 years old.

I think what they did to her was wrong.Any person male or female who has the abuility to look and feel as good about themselves like Carmen deserves a lot more respect than this.The pictures are not nude there sexy,what’s wrong with that.Keep up the good work girl

And how many men “Fire Fighters” have posed near nude for calenders and got elected for some office? And how many of them have sold those calenders and donated the proceeds to a comunity fund? I see it as this woman has a very nice figure, if she encourages the youth in her community to try to look like her then we can win the battle of obese children.
