Don’t H8 - Joseph Bryan Shore
June 10, 2008

High school graduation. A time when your family comes together to see you walk across the stage and get your diploma.
Except if you are the proud parents of Joseph Bryan Shore.
Joey here thought it would be a good idea to curse his parents as he got on stage, flip the bird to the crowd as they started to boo him, and take a swipe at his principal.
Police were called in following the ceremony at Arab High School in Arab, Ala., to settle the 18-year-old graduate, but his continued cursing and resisting of police officers led to his arrest on charges of disorderly conduct.
“We truly regret having to involve the Arab Police Department at graduation,” school principal Patrick Crowder told the Arab Tribune. “We felt that the levels of spoken and expressed obscenities left us no other recourse.”
The police also reported that “Shore’s family was behind us and becoming irate because he was under arrest. Several times they had to be told to calm down and back off.”
What proud parents they must be of little Joey. I see a bright future ahead of him as he takes my order at Taco Bell.

Well, I think people jump to quick to blame this kid. From what I’ve read sounds like the school staff was out to get him all along. Sounds to me like he was giving his final farwell to his principal and school that he just ADORED!!! lol Say if he is a troubled kid, like they are reporting, does’nt look like the school did anything to help this kid. If he’s still angry at graduation then what that does that tell ya. As far as I’m concerned the school failed this kid. People should’nt be too quick to judge when they don’t know all the facts. Did anyone ask JBS or his family their side of the story? I get sick and tired of schools always being in the right. What about stupents and their families? Don’t they have any rights? You know not all teachers and schools are perfect. In fact some are pretty crummy. Just because their a teacher does’nt make them god. They make mistakes and are human like anyone else. I say cut this kid some slack. Ya, what he did was bad, but I think we all know we’ve heard and seen a lot worse. Nobody got hurt or killed. Just my opinion.
