I think it’s always been known that when the President of the United States is addressing Congress, you either stand up and clap 6,000 times during his speech if you agree – or you sit your ass down.
Never before has someone yelled at the President – until now. South Carolina Joe Wilson thought it would be a good political move to call the Prez a “liar”.
I thought old boy was going to jump from behind the podium and drop the hammer on Joe. That look he gave him was the precursr to a back alley beatdown.

Shameful! Why didn’t you try to get the country back over the past 8 years when you were being robbed? I thought my typing skills were poor, wow, I’ve seen more errors tonight than I’ve made in a lifetime! I’ve also seen too much psuedo-intellectualism and just plain hatred exhibited. I think that of all the comments, Jay’s is the one I would vote for as the one who’s author needs hospitalization the most. This guy seems to be certifiably over the edge.
Anyway, I am so happy that someone(Joe Wilson) has the passion to cause him to do what is considered taboo. After all, the liberals made it acceptable to use civil disobediance to force their agenda. Why pick on Joe for giving-in to his sudden urge to right a wrong. Besides, few have found it necessary to point out that Obamma was saying lies, lies, lies, first! How much of that crap can one man take?
I have long said, “The Democrats can dish it out, but they sure can’t take it!” Of course it’s obvious that this is just another ploy to divert attention from a bad plan. The Democratic party is rife with hypocrasy!
I am not thrilled with the Republicans either, the way they threw Joe to the hyenas is just typical of the gutless way they have handled everything. President Bush probably told his share of lies, but he is the only one with cajones enough to stick by his beliefs. At least, until he decided to let the Democrats hang themselves and let the stimulus garbage start. The camel’s nose got under the tent then. Too bad!

I think Joe Wilson was right for what he did. I bet the only reason barack obama is president is because he is black. I bet that people that never cared for voting voted for the first time just because obama ran for president. What has become of americans? I’m not obama wouldn’t make a good president, because he just got into office. He won’t be able to fix everything right away. But he isn’t doing much good for the U.S. right now. Excessive spending, and what about the troops? Yeah they’re still in Afghanistan fighting. So think about it people.

The two health care bills from the Senate & the House did not cover Illigal Aliens. So the President said just that. So where’s the so-called “lie.” Did Joe Wilson think people were so stupid to believe his disrespectful outburst. These “sound bytes” from representatives of the former slave states (all but Florida voted against Obama) are truly racist in tone, and sound very much like the KKK slogans one hears on right-wing talk-radio programs. What is a “Cracker” anyway? I’ve never heard that term before.

The remark reflects the new racism in government. History will record Wilson’s shout as such and he his name will eventually be a scourge on the body politic. He is guilty of giving in to his feelings: Fortunately for us, we now know those feelings.

I don’t care if you like Obama or not, but I do believe that he is the Commander In Chief and It was totaly out of line to yell that out. He is the President of the United States and deserves to be respected even if you disagree with his ideas. If that was someone in the service yelling out to his commander of his battalion he would be court marshaled most likely

Maybe if the dumbasses that always use the race card would just wake the hell up and see that the terrorist in office is nothing but a liar, and would get over what they call “pride” towards honestly one of the biggest uncle toms in the world, that has spent more money than any previous president, and uses ” its because I’m black” type excuses, and actually knew what he was doing, and didn’t make himself look like a giant baboon, we would be ok.
