Philadelphia – A new mom is charged with selling her newborn son to a man for $15,000. Police say Bridget Wismer, 33, wanted the money to take her other two sons on a trip to Disney World. Wismer says she thought she was doing a legitimate adoption with a man who she felt was in a better position to raise the boy. Wismer’s grandmother tipped off the cops to the sale but detectives didn’t have evidence to arrest her until they found out where Wismer and the alleged baby buyer met. A surveillance camera captured images of Wismer and John Gavaghan, 54, of Philadelphia, taking care of business. The baby boy was born on Aug. 31 and according to court papers, Wismer didn’t want the child. Gavaghan was arrested at his Philadelphia apartment and detectives placed the baby in foster care. Wismer was arrested that same day at her home.

Look at those fake tears streaming down her face. She thought that selling her kid for 15k to some 54 year old dude was the right thing to do? And on top of that, this dude has been supporting her and her two other kids? Please tell me that he gets to knock it out every now and then. Nothing is worse then supporting a single mother of three and not getting a mouth hug or a hander for your efforts.
