I had a girl that worked for me several years ago, that had a similar experience. She and her husband were drunk in MN on New Years Eve, and he got a bloody nose at some point in the evening. Dude stuck some kleenex in his nose to stop the bleeding,and went to sleep/passed out. A few weeks go by, he has awful headaches, and an awful smell he can’t get away from.
Goes to the doctor, he looks up his nose, and pulls out the bloody kleenex that he must have huffed up his schnozz in his drunken sleep weeks earlier.
This is a splint removal after septoplasty surgery to correct the walls of the nose to help one breathe better. I had this operation done and while uncomfortable, does not hurt. There would be a splint in each side of the nose to be removed like this,

That has to be one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever witnessed. What the hell did he snort? An Oompa-Lumpa?
