He’s famous, but for all the wrong reasons. Was just waiting for God™ to look down and put him out of his misery.
How was he still getting applause at the end of that? That didn’t even deserve a pity clap.
My only guess is that his first note blew out the eardrums of everyone in the building, so they couldn’t hear how bad it got.
