We are only in May and this guy locked up Father of the Year honors. You’ve got to be a real idiot to think that it’s funny to put your kid in a washing machine – joke or not. Can we go ahead and cut the nuts off of this clown so that he doesn’t bring anymore kids into the world?

This makes me laugh only because I use to live in Kansas City and know how classy the people who attend Rockfest are.

NANAIMO — An intermediate A lacrosse game boiled over on Saturday in Nanaimo at Frank Crane Arena, an incident that has been condemned by both teams involved. The game pitted the Nanaimo Timbermen against the Coquitlam Adanacs in their first meeting of the season. The game disintegrated late in the second period as Cody Reed scored to put Coquitlam up 15-4. Reed was hit by the Timbermens’ Jordan Kuziuk, who two seconds later was crosschecked by the Adanacs’ Zachary Hartman, who was playing in his first game back after missing time to a concussion. At that point a line brawl broke out and eventually both benches emptied. The game was called with 47 seconds left in the frame. The incident was caught on video and has gone viral. B.C. Intermediate A Lacrosse League commissioner Gene Regier came down hard on both teams, handing out 15 suspensions, but would not disclose to who and how long. “It’s the first time this has happened to me as a commissioner,” said Regier, who has been in his position for 12 years. “I’ve seen them at senior games, but this is the first one I’ve had to deal with.”While fights are not out of the ordinary in lacrosse, they generally do not escalate to the level this one did and there were several complicating factors: Hartman was playing his first game after missing time to a concussion; as soon as Hartman hit Kuziuk late, multiple Timbermen came to his aid and jumped Hartman; the Adanacs’ trainer, who was in his first lacrosse game, jumped onto the floor almost immediately, adding to the confusion; the Adanacs were the first to have players come off the bench and engage in the fight; and the Timbermen were trailing 15-4 while Regier at least hints that there was some taunting going on.

Not bad. Saw a couple decent haymakers being landed. The chest bump at the end topped it all off.

Austin YNN – An epic battle was waged across The Drag at the University of Texas Friday. It was Foam Sword Friday, an end of semester stress reliever that has turned into a semi-annual tradition. On the last Friday of classes, students stare each other down from across Guadalupe Street and then attack as soon as the crosswalk light comes on. However, the student celebration went quiet for a moment Friday afternoon when one of the participants was hit by a city bus. Emergency officials arrived on scene around 1 p.m. after the bus struck a UT student, later identified as Nick Engmann, on the street in front of the University Co-op. According to Capital Metro, the bus driver ran a red light and has since received a citation. In a statement released later in the afternoon Friday, Capital Metro spokesperson Erica McKewen said:

“The driver was cited by the Austin Police Department. The pedestrian got up on his own accord and walked to the curb, and was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The operator is a 21-year veteran with only one accident on his record, which occurred approximately 10 years ago. He will be placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation that will include a drug and alcohol test. If it is determined that the driver was at fault, he will face disciplinary action.”

Officials with Austin-Travis County EMS says the injuries were not serious. Engmann even posed for a Facebook photo before he was taken to St. David’s Hospital.

Someone is going to have a nice payday coming their way. But this kid has to be smart enough to know that you don’t run across the middle of the street the second the crosswalk turns green. Even in my car, I wait a good 2 seconds before I pull out into traffic because people are notorious for running the red light 2-3 seconds after it’s turned red. Foam Friday will now be known as Frogger Friday.
